Being (Edit) Track

Edit, longer versions appear on the CD-Rs "Being" (1996) and "Being – six objects" (2001, BSBTA) and are available via the Sonus and IMSLP online libraries as well as the Internet Archive.

This radical minimalist piece indicates its presence. It is something.

At least part of the idea for this track was to create something that mainly displayed its own being there – regardless of whether you liked it or not, found it boring, soothing and/or whathaveyou. Almost a kind of neutral piece.

Probably not too many people want to actually download the piece (or any version of it), still: one listens and notices that there is something there – job done, so to speak.
