I named this song "Authenticity" not only because it's one of the things I value in life, but also because it's extremely important to be real with other people and yourself. You should always be yourself at all times because if you're pretending to be somebody that you're not and/or doing or liking something that you don't like in front of other people just to impress them, that means you're a people pleaser. It shows that you care about what others think of you. You don't need to be the same type of person as everybody else, and you definitely don't need to do or like the same things as everybody else, you just need to show your true colors. If people don't like your true colors, then the joke is on them.
