Wizwars

Wizwars (real name Kevin Hagge) is a Los Angeles based musician who makes high energy music using old video game hardware, primarily a Nintendo Gameboy. This style of music is commonly known as "chiptune" or "chipmusic". While his music has roots in Techno and other dance music, Kevin prefers to call it "Game Boy Rock", referencing the high level of energy found in his songs and at many of his shows. Originally called "Wizards And Warriors", Kevin began releasing music in the summer of 2006. To date, his music has been featured on over 20 releases, including EPs, split albums, and compilations. The majority of this music was released for free download. Since the fall of 2009, he has been playing regular live shows throughout the Southwestern US, primarily in and around Los Angeles and Phoenix.
