in the world of the underground mixtape, ideas like these come a dime a dozen, but you almost stand out immediately the moment you decide to spit verses over some Portishead joints. it's the type of thing that can go either really good or really bad. thankfully, Wildabeast remains interesting enough on the lyrical tip to do justice to such a project. his style of spit feels right on "Machine Gun"...
