I was about to describe Onyx System as "under-appreciated," "unsung" and "unheralded." But were they, in actual fact? "Dreams Are Not Dreams" was one of the first records I discovered after first visiting the Free Music Archive, and it remains my favorite release of 2013 and a staple of my pre-dawn commute on public transit (as all the other riders nod between sleep and wakefulness).
