The two dead men deserved to die
And I am here to tell you why
They caused the death of my wife to be
And killed her dad but they didn't get me
I followed those men to London town
Where I thought they'd settle down
I worked driving a hansome cab
Poison pills ready, taken from a lab
I waited until Drebber was alone
Took him to an empty house unknown
Here I let him choose a pill
And this was how he was killed
My heart was racing my nose did bleed
But at last I'd done the deed
I wrote "rache" on the wall in blood
And left my footprints outside in the mud
Stangerson was next on my list
I gave him a pill choice, he did resist
He tried to pounce, so his heart I stabbed
"'Ere mister" I heard "someone wants your cab."
So here I am, under your arrest
But in a strange way I think that I'm blessed
My heart is bad, the doctor said
So after this I'll soon be dead
