Fades/Afterlife (Disk_2) Album

Fades / Afterlife is Livio Amato's new digital double album, a sonic journey into the mind of a man plunged into depression, tormented by memories of his past. In the second album, Afterlife, the protagonist retraces his near-death experience. He will meet his beloved, but in a different form; he will be brought before divine judgment, will have to account for the love he failed to give while alive, and will be the only real cause of suffering in the afterlife: having to give back what he was unable to feel. The dichotomy between his essence and that of the young woman will be the theme of the sequel, described in sixteen instrumental tracks that gradually accompany the story's phases. The purely dark ambient, downtempo, chillout style attempts to recreate the settings and moods of the protagonists, through the story's key moments.
