In 2010, after having featured No Mas from Tha Silent Partner’s debut Platters Act on netBloc Vol. 11: The Raw and the Cooked, we released the then Complete Platters Sessions XE, having little inkling that the series would be going on strong long after.

Of course, the series has continued on with excellent additions. In 2012 with Act 4, in 2013 with Act 5 and now today with the release of Platters, Act 6: Plates From ’08! As the title suggests, this time around, TSP decided to dig into the vaults to find previously unreleased gems from back in 2008. Sixteen tracks deep, this selection gives more of the quality head nodding grooves that fans have come to expect. At Act 6, I’d say the Platters legacy is secure. It’s also a safe bet that TSP fans can never rule out another act.

TSP has a knack for taking source material and shaping & forming it into a tasty morsel that has that signature TSP sound. If you have yet to peep his sounds, be sure to. I doubt you’ll be disappointed. If you’re already a fan… you know what’s up. Word.

A special thanks to Greg for putting together this latest edition of the great Platters series. It’s always a pleasure to be able to help get your music out to music lovers.

Of course, thanks once again to you for downloading & listening. We always strive to deliver the music you’ll love. Please spread the word about blocSonic, if you enjoy what we do. Remember… everything we release is cool to share! Always keep the music moving… share it… blog it… podcast it! If you’re in radio… support independent music and broadcast it!.
