Artist
Shai is born in Haifa, Israel in 1987. In 1990 he moves to Massachusetts, where he spends the next nineteen years with his friends and family.
Spending considerable time playing and recording music with his two bands When Walls Are Built and The Tiny Tornadoes, Shai becomes quite acute on the best ways to approach music-making: positivity, curiousity, and openness.
2007 is the year of steady realization. Shai pencils, performs, and records the many imaginings wading in his head. December arrives promptly, and Shai wants to share all that he has created in the past year. He hand-makes boxes of CDs titled Home Recordings 2007 and passes them along to all his friends. Delighted by the encouraging responses, Shai decides to dedicate more time to writing and recording music under his own name.
