“MTV influenced my early love of music. When it first aired, I’d turn up the TV and jump on my couch, singing and moving to David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Pat Benatar, The Who, The Pretenders, The Cars, and Phil Collins.”

I’m really inspired by anything my senses pick up on – sounds, temperature, tasty stuff…
Artist-wise, I like a wide spectrum as long as it’s got good texture and rhythm: Ennio Morricone, Boom Bip, Four Tet, Orchestra Baobab, Ethiopiques, the Knife.

Ryan Cross began making music at 15 on a Tascam 4-track recorder, and he hasn’t stopped in the 20 years since. He’s been in a number of bands, including 6-Minute Heart Stop, Loch Lomond, Iretsu, and Us Lights, and has contributed his skills in soundtracking and sound design to many live productions for theater and dance companies.
