Album Description
Composer Travis Just of Object Collection presents a live excerpt of his three-hour modern opera Innova. With five vocalists, electric guitar, percussion and electronics, Innova is a raucous piece of Robert Wilson- inspired nightmarish futurism. The story is set "within an urban grotto that evokes a cosmopolitan vision of productive decay and resonantly colliding languages," according to the producers.
Tune in as they remake WFMU's Love Room into their own frightful grotto. After their performance, Travis et al also sat down with Kurt for an interesting chat.
