“happy happy happy birthday song” (by Milol Shapiro)
Milo Shapiro was an improviser with the troupe San Diego TheatreSports for 14 years. He created this song because he worked with kids at times and never liked that funeral dirge "Happy Birthday To You". This version is upbeat and has a little dance that goes with it. Kids learn it in about 20 seconds and they love doing it. He sometimes tells them it's the NY version so they think they're doing something from far away. ;-)
Nowadays, Milo is mostly a public speaking coach, motivational speaker getting the whole audience playing improv games with him, and organization teambuilder teaching teamwork and communication improvement through improv games. You can catch his column and his podcasts at www.FullSpeechAhead.com .
