Album Description
These pieces were live improvisations created within The Shrine of Native Rites for Electric Winter, created by David Jimison and Esther Cheung. The shrine utilized recursive pentagrammatical structures. At each of the five points, an audience member wearing headphones surrounded the musicians. The audience members were served mint tea and asked to meditate on the music and visuals being displayed. Projected on the ceiling above were various NASA footage and recreations of solar flares. These were realized on an EMS synthi and Custom modular synthesizer.
