"Wise, wistful, quietly devastating folk-pop...well sculpted melodies...richly poetic lyrics." iTunes Editors Notes

“With all of these songs—pop-rock sparklers informed by the kind of edgy country and clever folk beloved by NPR subscribers—movement carries risk, but it beats staying put.”M Music & Musicians Magazine

“Channeling the finger-plucked folk music of Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake, Linda Draper gets back to her acoustic roots...she sings like a siren, luring some would-be lover to his grisly doom.” American Songwriter Magazine

On July 22, 2013, Linda Draper dropped by Irene Trudel's radio show on WFMU to play a few songs, solo. In this recording, she gives a spellbinding, raw, and intimate live performance. You will hear Linda Draper's voice and guitar, up close and personal, like never before.

Included in this live performance on WFMU are a few songs from Draper's 7th studio album "Edgewise" (which was released in May, 2013) including "Sleepwalkers" and "Shadow of a Coal Mine". Linda also premiered 2 new songs: "Nashville" and her latest hit, "Put Love In".

From a father who studied guitar with Segovia to a credible guitarist/singer/songwriter on her own, Linda Draper has developed her own timeless style over the years.  For more info on where you can catch Linda Draper live, and discover some of her other songs, videos, blog, and reviews, go to: www.reverbnation.com/lindadraper or www.lindadraper.net
