Album Description
Soul Anus - 8Bit Essays after the Dubstep Epoque. Gustav's first full-length exists in its emergent version at the ICMuS Hub as well as as a free hardcopy dropped into retail opportunities. The free hardcopy comes as a double CD - one CDR of the audio (a wholly different version of the album from its online ones) PLUS a data CD containing the RAW WAV loops, chennel-per-channel, pared right down. The hope and invitiation is that listeners may use these for their own purposes. Any FMA user who wants to have a WAV pack sent electronically, please email Gustav: gustavthomas@gmail.com.
Soul Anus was made on a DMG Greyscale Gameboy running Nanoloop 1.3. All tracks were performed 'live', avoiding the 'arrange' mode in favour of a less predictable transition between patterns that also throws up unique bleeds between themes.
