Grid Resistor, music made with machines.
A lot of current music is, to be honest; but just to use machine sounds.
I would expect that to turn some people off.
Music is supposed to have a human quality; and it should have certain sounds that we are groomed to expect.
What is, then, the music of Grid Resistor? An industrial fetish? A sacrilege? Doesn't matter?
Every sound in Grid Resistor is that of a machine, and it's hard not to notice a dark, eerie quality in it.
Is that inevitable, because of the way it is made?
Does it make you miss bongos, guitars and "Cum Ba Yah"?
