I’d like you to welcome Devonne Harris, otherwise known as DJ Harrison, to the blocSonic fam. A talented multi-instrumentalist/composer hailing from Richmond, Virginia (RVA), the home of other blocSonic fam — Friends or Whatever, The Honorable Sleaze, Joey Ripps & Just Plain Ant (yup, something must be in the water). His sound is a tasty mélange of Jazz, Blues, Soul, R&B & Hip-Hop. It’s all of those things, yet it’s so much more. In another era, a talent such as DJH might find himself working with greats such as Coltrane, Miles, JB, Isaac, or Curtis… he is that good.

What you have here today, is a selection of 3 tracks from his forthcoming “‘94 Flow” and a bonus track from his archives. You’ll have a week to absorb these tasty morsels. Once they’ve completely merged with your funky molecules you’ll be ready for the album, next Tuesday!

Thanks again for listening! Remember… everything we release is cool to share! Always keep the music moving… share it… blog it… podcast it! If you’re in radio… support independent music and broadcast it!
