The chameleonic Lund, who was for 11 years a member of popular indie rock band The Smalls, is now a little bit country and a little bit rock 'n' roll.
Coming from four generations of Albertan ranchers and rodeo cowboys, Corb Lund was born and raised in rural southern Alberta. His music is influenced by his experiences riding horseback, rodeoing and chasing cattle on the family farm and ranches near Taber, Rosemary and Cardston.
Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans have toured incessantly throughout Canada, Europe, Australia and the US. Their new album "Horse Soldier! Horse Soldier!" will hit stores November 13, 2007.
