"A constant intensity glowing and cracking through the never quite hardening blackened surface. Familiar samples get pulled into the compositions and devoured, leaving us to breathe in their ghosts like steam hovering over the tracks. The magic of ocean production seems to be the impossible demonstration of a slight sense of hope existing within complete sorrow, but the more you listen you begin to realize. That feeling you're left with is not a glimmer of light at all, but somehow the comfort of the darkness itself."
