Archipelago by A. A. Aalto

Album Description

CURATOR:
Length:00:15:49

A. A. Aalto is the latest pseudonym of instrumental composer/producer Chad Crouch of Portland, Oregon, formerly known to many as Podington Bear. "Fest" builds on the A. A. Aalto debut "Bright Corners" with an appealing mix of acoustic and electric instruments. Brushed drums intertwine with percolating drum machines while pizzicato strings and woodwinds whirl around analog synthesizer arpeggios. Ever present is a trademark subtle grooviness. Fest is an ideal soundtrack for chilling out, daydreaming, studying, and brainstorming. Touchstones include The Album Leaf, Air, Andrew Bird, and Michael Andrews.
