thanks Katya! No flooding at WFMU's library, but all around the building...

Fortunately all staff members are safe and accounted for. But the storm took out both WFMU transmitters, phones and electricity at the station, and we are still uncovering some damage. This weekend was supposed to be our annual Record Fair, but with no guarantee of electricity, public transportation, and dealers canceling left and right, the fair has been postponed.

It's been really inspiring to see the community come together though—for a moment, the live stream was revived thanks to a network of DJs in their home "studios"!
