CC Starting Point Mix
This mix is intended to accompany a remix/editing assignment in my Broadcast 1 classes. The purpose of the assignment is to both emphasize some editing skills, but also to introduce baiscs of finding work that is licensed for use in video, understanding those license obligations and requirements, and properly marking the work and abiding by the terms of use agreement. If you're a student, please remember that you must click on the "i" or the song title to see track info, including licensing information.
Some pointers for how to use this mix:
Create a login profile for the FMA. It's free and useful and awesome. Login each time you visit the site. Play tracks in the player, not just on the page. It's easier to scrub through the tracks, and also easier to access track info (using the little "i" to the right of each track). If you find anything you even *sorta* like, click through to the artist's page to see what else is available. Start exploring that way. Just remember to always double-check the license information for any tracks you find and want to use. Share your finds with others.
