Ancient Robot is an independent record label based in Montreal, Canada. It was founded as the creative imprint of musician, composer and ethnomusicologist John Constantinides, whose artist aliases include Smoked Meat Fax Machine and Fengir. It has since grown into a global family of artists who make convention-defying music and enjoy each other’s company. The Ancient Robot label mandate is simple: we like music made with love and thought, and we’d like to fill the world with it.
