Michael Hoffmann worked for approximately 20 years as a professional musician in different live and studio situations. For about 8 years he has busied himself intensively with the most different forms of electronic music as well as Drum' n' bass, House, Ambient, Dub and electronic Avantgard. New rhythm- and sound-worlds have opened themselves to him. The connection of acoustic Drumset and the inexhaustible possibilities of electronic gear are very attractive, demanding and exciting to Michael. His album-projects FROST, LUMINOUS, RUFF-STUFF Edition, the Band-Projects COMFORT ZONE, Weigl & Hoffmann and EK-Lounge are the result of the gathered experiences of the last years.
