Lisa is a singer/composer and the voice of Triana Orpheus on Adult Swim’s hit comedy The Venture Brothers. She is also an award-winning filmmaker, specializing in no-budget quirky spoofs like The Sisters Plotz and Pus$bucket (From the Broadway Musical) which have earned her a loyal prison following. She has won numerous awards including: Best Feature Film at the 2009 CMJ Film Festival for her dark comedy The Invisible Life of Thomas Lynch, the Silver Medal at the Chicago Underground Film Festival, Finalist at the Canada International Film Festival, Finalist at Sundance Shorts, People’s Choice award at the “It Came From Kuchar” fest, and New York Press Best Cable Access TV show for Pox and Turn of the Century weekly TV shows. She is humbled that her films have secured grants from renowned organizations including NY Foundation for the Arts, National Endowment for the Arts, The Media Loft, Emerson Film Society, The Experimental TV Center, and Drift Distribution. She has appeared on the cover of the Hollywood Reporter, in Filmmaker Magazine, New York Press, Film Threat, Shock Cinema, Baltimore Press, Seattle Weekly, American Cinematographer and L.A. Weekly. She was also a Gothic rock star in the 1980s and ’90s and maintained a worldwide fan base with her new band Radiana. She has collaborated with film greats such as James Merendino (SLC Punk), Ben Edlund (Supernatural, Angel), Doc Hammer (The Venture Brothers) and has been lucky enough to direct Courtney Love, H. Jon Benjamin (Archer), Jonathan Katz (Dr. Katz), Eve Plumb (The Brady Bunch) Clayne Crawford (Jericho), James Duval (Donnie Darko) and Arden Myrin (Mad TV), to name a few.
