'Molecular Detournement Egregore'
This sound project emerged from my musical and noise pursuits in 2006.
Quantities of Excitation refers to the libidinal energy of the human nervous system
while Kandinsky-Clerambault Syndrome describes a condition
where one is fearful of surveillance while being obsessed with celebrities.
This self-censorship and concentration of looking are aspects of what surrealists call
miserabilism—the depreciation of reality instead of its exaltation.
Thus these largely improvisational ‘songs’ are anti-miserabilist sound spells and lo-fi noise aerobics.
My intention was to reach a trance state or emotional catharsis and let the possibilities unfold.
Instruments include prepared guitar, processed and toy electronics, found sounds, amplified objects,
voice, box flute, detuned scanner, and pre-recorded tapes.
The title of the album, Molecular Detournement Egregore, reflects my interest in surrealist, situationist,
and occult practices which can reveal and stimulate ‘unnatural connections’ through subversive imagination.
Detourning or hijacking the foundations of matter away from their habitual functions
empowers the surrealist egregore or ‘sentient tradition’ while encouraging free play.

Six Heads – ‘Six Heads or The Appearance of Hairs Band’
suRRism-Phonoethics is ultimately excited as well as proud to release Six Heads!
Based in Toronto, Canada and formed by multidisciplinary artist W.A.Davison in 2000 from the ashes of the former junk instrument project Urban Refuse Group, Six Heads is an ensemble of six instrument-builders and sound experimenters dedicated to exploring the rarely trodden territory of surrealist sound collage – aware of the trails previously blazed by other audio surrealists but charting their own path by means of free improvisation, homemade instruments, and live mixing as opposed to studio manipulation/composition.
Members of Six Heads have performed at the 2008 Whitney Biennial (NYC), Festival International de Musique Actuelle de Victoriaville (Quebec), Y2K8 International Live Looping Festival (San Jose, California), Liz Was and Miekal And’s Festival of the Swamps (Madison, Wisconsin), on Wire magazine’s Resonance FM radio station (London, UK), and at legendary tape networker Hal McGee‘s Dictaphonia Fest (Gainesville, Florida) as well as having collaborated with members of numerous other noise, experimental, andimprovised music projects such as Nurse With Wound, Nihilist Spasm Band, CCMC, AMM, and Govt. Alpha.
Recent Six Heads releases have included tapes on american labels Black Horizons (“The Popeye Scat”, 2009)and Psychform (“Ether”, 2007) and an upcoming full-length vinyl LP on Wintage Records.

About “colchon estable”:
At first I thought in doing this ep has a solo bass work because i was rehearsal for some gigs, but at the end i add a couple of “sequencer pieces” as i call them, and some cuts of a piano session recorded in a studio that my friend Leo had access. With all that, i finish this ep at the end of january, but i wasn’t please with the sound of it, so i try different kinds of mixes until i knew that it wasn’t about the mix, so i decide to re-record the whole ep thru my living room speakers to gave the tracks a very natural and particular reverb, the idea also excite me because i thought of this like a way to really recreate my listening room wherever the tracks are listen.

Cezary Gapik aka CEZAR was born in Częstochowa, Poland in 1963.
His musical activity started in 1980 from animating punk bands.
In the nineties he started to make his own remixes what fluently evolved to making his own composition
and recording as solo artist. In 1998 Cezary Gapik began colaboration with Bart Qzniak,
two years later with Dawid Kosiarkiewicz, Joe Giardullo, Zbigniew Szamtloch and Zale.
Profesionally he works in muliti-media IT industry and as a freelance composer making soundtracks for computer games (ambient music in Painkiller – 2004), spots for radio and intro’s/outro’s sound designer for metal bands (Yattering – 1999, Infernal War – 2004 and 2006).

The Advanced Antennas – ‘Rundfunk’!

“The Advanced Antennas is a group of 7 anonymous radio-listeners,musicians and shortwave radio dx fans, from different parts of the world, who follows the experiences, and texts of a mysterious radio technician and french soldier known as “”Le
technicien inconnu”. This man was distended as soldier of the French Army in the Tromelin
Archipelago during the 1950´s. He wrote some texts about technical
radio skills, poems, and a unique book about how to transform the
analogical radio noise into art using magnetic tape, “cut and paste”,
and the zoroastrian astrology. (The title of this book is “Mithra”).
He spend 4 years in the island doing his work as a radio technician
for the French Army. Supposedly `Le technicien´ lost his mind and
commit suicide in 1954: In 1998 his personal goods (Letters, a
collection of radios, and other stuff) were put on auction by his last
descendant, and acquired by a Surinamese citizen called H. Nieuwendam,
a expert in radio communications, historian, and dx fan.
Mr. Nieuwendam found the only known copy of the book of this misfortune’d
man, handwritten, and studied it for 4 long years. Then he contact with some
radio listeners and musicians, and create a project called “The advanced Antennas”.
The tittle of this release, “Rundfunk” is a reference about the third chapter of
”Mithra”, in which Le technicien inconnu (We cannot reveal his real
name) wrote about how the radio transmissions can be used for long distance secret communications between states, companies, and individuals, how this transmissions can be jammed, and how to decipher the secret messages of the radio shortwave broadcasting. “Only the people that looks and listen trough the waves, will know the truth”.(“Mithra” 3.3.2.1)
It was recorded using the Internet and snail mail from june 2007 to
march 2010, by “The advanced antennas” (7 people from Costa Rica,
Germany, France, Italy, Iran, Spain, and Suriname). We make this sounds using many shortwave radios (Satellite 800, 3400, etc) omnidirectional antennas, clock radios, and
so on to catch the noises. The melodies are played with different toy
pianos, keyboards, and analog machines.”
