Hello my name is Jason
I like that podcast idea, Jason. Get on it!
Yeah, tie that into your travels for sure. I'd love to be able to listen to the FMA blog along with merely reading it.
I want some kind of FMA meetup. Can this happen?

I will Steven! I just wanna do it right, ya know? Lots of ideas, time to make it happen (BTW Bildungsroman's sounding great!)

yes! I was thinking of different events we could do...well first we'd hold a contest to score music for open source & public domain video (maybe focusing on stuff from the Prellinger archives) and then we could hold a screening in NYC and a few other spots around the world. I'd throw down for some Free Beer, maybe we could even rope in some home brewers...

this is me too, in case anybody was wondering...!
Rad. I'm both a homebrewer and a score-er, so let's do it. I might try out a batch of Free Beer soon, so I'll let you know how that works.
Hey! Wow you are prolific.
You seem to be the man in charge here, am I correct?
Welcome to FMA
Hey Jason,
Popping in to say hi from California! I've been looking for a similar position since leaving KBOO so lemme know if you hear of anything. I'm also in communication with the new (new) Web Coordinator there so can help out from afar.
Hope all is well,
Marc
Oh, and I'm a homebrewer too :)

Here's the first one, with Eric Steuer of Creative Commons talking about CC, podcasts, CBC, "Defining NonCommercial", and superheroes. Plus...lots of awesome Creative Commons music!
Now listening to it. Sounds great Jason!
And blogged about it: melodiefabriek.nl/2010/10/grey-area-podcast-van-free-music-archive/

Hi! I'm the M.D. here at the FMA and MD stands for whatever you want...doctor...music director...managing dude
I host the weekly radio show Talk's Cheap on WFMU, where I play a bunch of music from the FMA. And I've been meaning to start a podcast with music + interviews with people from all around the music industry and free culture universe. The time is nigh!
I play music, Lame Drivers is my 'songwriting vehicle' but i used to make hip-hop beats as BOPD and I'd like to get back into that some day. I've also messed around with Max/MSP, and played in a bunch of other bands, recently picked up the bass in Home Blitz. I've eaten at probably 1/5th of the spots in Road Food and would like to up that amount.
I've seen a lot of you around the site, and I'm looking forward to meeting you all!
